I am a Pennsylvania born girl living in North Carolina and loving all things Southern. I am so close to using y'all on a daily basis. I have been planning events for 10 years and fell head over heels in love with Weddings 5 years ago. I love all things fashion, colorful, design, and of course weddings!

DIY Friday! Metallic Mason Jars and Pitchers

January 4

Happy DIY Friday! There is something so southern and fun about mason jars and tea pitchers. We love the look they add to your decor and wanted to spice them up a bit! We added some metallic gold paint to them for extra fun!

This is so simple and can be used in so many ways!

All you need is:

-Mason Jars or Tea pitchers

-Metallic spray paint

Simply turn them upside down and spray with a thin coat of paint. Let them dry and apply a second coat (or third depending on how much coverage you want). Then you are ready to go!

Make it pretty!

Make it Pretty Monday! Mason Jars Decor!

March 26

A lot of our brides love Mason Jars, but they are unsure of how to use them. Mason jars are a favorite southern item, and they can be great to use to decorate weddings! The ways to use them are endless! However, you don’t want to use too many mason jars all over, but if you scatter them throughout your wedding reception, they could be the perfect final touch to your southern wedding!

Use them as ceremony aisle decor!

 Paint chalkboard paint on the jars and use them as escort cards, and guests can use them to drink out of all night! {Source}

Put family photos in the jars, and place them near your guest book, and scatter them around your cake. {Source}

You can even use mason jars as lightening decor if you add a candle and place it on a table, or hang it somewhere! {Megan Kime }

 These are just a start to so many fun options! Have fun being creative!

Best Wishes!
