Memorial Day brought special meaning to our sweet couple Maddy + Josh this year. Not only is this a special holiday for their families, but it was also their picture perfect wedding day. Framed by her family’s beautiful southern home – Maddy and Josh said “I do” surrounded by a breathtaking array of white and green florals and pristine landscaping fit for a magazine cover. This wedding was all Southern Glamour! We worked with Maddy’s Mother to bring her specific vision to life, one that highlighted the love the Maddy and Josh share, their close family bonds, and the meaning of the Memorial Day holiday for this West Point graduate Groom.
We loved the bond this bride and her mother shared! Two beautiful ladies!
The entire design was based off of a bouquet that Maddy loved. It was classic peonies, roses and the sweet blue tweedia flower. We wanted to make sure that all the elements of the design worked with the groom’s uniform. I am so happy with how it all turned out!
Maddy and Josh chose to honor the “Fallen Soldier” at their reception. This was a touching tribute to those who have sacrificed for our country and the freedoms that we all cherish today.
How gorgeous was this table scape? Paired with glittering linens and candlelight for days these white and blue blooms from Fresh Affairs took our breath away!
The couple made their grand exit to a sea of waving American flags – a fitting ending to a Memorial Day wedding!
Maddy + Josh’s wedding weekend wouldn’t have been possible without this fabulous team of vendors!
